After three long years, we finally brought everyone back together in person for our 8th fundraising gala! We were able to make donations to the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation AND the University of Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital / Camp Chihopi. Camp Chihopi is in Morgantown, West Virginia and is for those aged 7-15 who have had a liver or intestine transplant. It provides a non-medical environment where campers can increase self-esteem and interact with others who have similar medical backgrounds. Thank you for helping us to support these two amazing causes!

In place of an in-person event, we sold tickets for a $10,000 calendar raffle. Our daily winners received various prizes, while our grand prize winner received $10,000! Through this effort, we were able to raise $10,000 to support the national research efforts in the UCD field.

Our 6th annual gala was such a success! We raised over $18,000 which was donated to the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation to be used toward research efforts in the field. We also delivered over 50 care packages and 30 stuffed animals to liver transplant recipients at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Thank you!

We are so thankful to be in our 5th year! Our 5th annual gala was a great success, as always. We were able to make a $15,000 donation to the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation. We also sent 50 care packages and 30 stuffed animals to liver transplant recipients at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Thank you for continuing to support our mission!

What an amazing year this was! As a result of your generosity, we were able to donate over $18,000 to the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation to be used to fund current research projects. We also sent over 30 assembled care packages to the Childrens’ Hospital of Pittsburgh to be distributed to liver transplant recipients and their families. Thank you!

‘Team Inspire Hope’ and got muddy for a great cause at the 2013 Ruckus Boston! It was a 2 mile mud run full of challenging (but fun!) obstacles. We had one of the largest teams in attendance and we certainly had more fun than any other team!

The Inspire Hope Foundation is proud to announce that our first fundraising event held on August 4, 2012 was a huge success!
Because of the overwhelming support that we received, we were able to make a $20,000 contribution toward ongoing projects being coordinated by the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation (NUCDF)! The first is a brain imaging study which will help us to fully understand the effects that urea cycle disorders are having on our childrens’ brains. The second is an effort to fund essential training programs to attract and retain the next generation of researchers. Both projects will directly impact the lives of all children affected by these disorders.
